I Have 47 Years More To Do Music – Rex Omar

Veteran Ghanaian musician, Rex Omar to whom the “Abiba” hit song is credited has fumed over the effort of young players to push veterans out of the music business.

In an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1FM he remarked, he may just quit music if he hits 100 years. Which means he has 47 more years to pursue music actively.

He averred, “Music is global and the world is big enough for all of us. I don’t need to step down for anyone. Maybe when I’m 100 years old, I’ll quit.”

Uncle Rex also made it categorically clear he is now matured in music after over 30 years of experience in the industry.

He rounded up by advising the new crop of artistes, to stop fighting for media space with the veterans, as the industry can accommodate masses.
