I See No Good Reason Whether In Law Or Common Sense By Which Akuapem Poloo Should Be Jailed – Kofi Bentil

Vice President of Ghanaian- International Policy Tink Tank, IMANI AFRICA, Kofi Bentil has said that he sees no good reason whether in law or common sense by which actress and video vixen, Akuapem Poloo should be jailed.

Kofi Bentil was reacting to the remand of the actress waiting to go for a pregnancy test before being sentenced tomorrow for posting a nude picture of herself and her son.

Akuapem Poloo later in 2020 celebrating her son’s 7th birthday posted on social media, a nude picture of herself, holding his hand.

Her actions raised controversies and heated arguments on social media, with some users calling for her arrest and prosecution.

She had earlier been convicted and remanded, waiting to be sentenced.

However, the Tink Tank’s Veep reacting in a Facebook post, Akuapem Poloo’s remand, agreed with behind law professor, Kwaku Azar who says she shouldn’t have pleaded guilty.

Mr. Bentil in his statement, questioned why the actress is to be placed in Ghana’s crowded cells for taking a nude picture of herself holding his son’s hand.

” I see no good reason whether in Law or common sense by which Akuapem Poloo should be jailed.
I also agree with my brother Kwaku Azar when he says she shouldn’t have pleaded guilty so the prosecution would prove their case beyond doubt!
Even if the case if proven, how is anyone helped especially the child of a single mother if his only parent is jailed???
And why place a young woman in a our crowded cells for such an offence?”

he Said.
