Ghanaian gospel musician, Piesie Esther has expressed her disappointment for not winning the Songwriter award and Best Music video award. She said this on 9th May, 2023 in an interview with Berla Mundi and Cookie Tee .
She added that she had hopes in winning both awards for her hard work and dedication to her work.
“ Oh my goodness, I wanted to pick awards for songwriter of the Year and Best Music Video. I believe the video for Way3 Me Yie was top-notch and deserved to win” she said.
Although, she did not win that award, she expressed how happy she was when she got to know that the winner was from the Gospel Industry Perez Music for his song “Hewale Lala”.
She also expressed her gratitude to her fans and organizers for VGMA for recognizing her work and making her win the Gospel Artist of the year
