Kwesi Arthur, Ghana’s nominee in the Viewers Choice category for the 2018 Black Entertainment Awards (BET) in an interview on TV3’s NewDay today revealed the Ghanaian artiste he looks up to and we are not surprised its Sarkodie, another Tema based rapper.
The burgeoning rapper who has always been full of praise for Sarkodie and has never skipped an opportunity to say thank you to him for what he did for him said Sarkodie has been relevant for over ten years and that’s the height he also wants to attain in his career.
“Sarkodie has been consistent in the industry for long. So, that alone inspires me to take him as my role model. An achievement I want to replicate as I journey through music”, Kwesi Arthur said.
Kwesi notwithstanding the above assertion added he draws inspiration from every artiste who has been able to stay relevant over the time.
After teaming up with Sarkodie and Medikal to remake the “Grind Day” song, Kwesi’s status has never been the same. Kwesi Arthur upon his return to Ghana turn to God and is currently promoting his inspiring piece titled, “Woara”.
