Females are gradually ascertaining dominance in the media and entertainment world. This has developed huge determination on the path of LIMA to recognize and honor these females.
The Ladies in Media Awards ‘LIMA’ 22 is the first of its kind; organized to recognise, honor and celebrate Africa females in the media world making a lot of impact.
Announcing the nominees and various categories via YouTube on February 4, 2023; 18 categories with over 50 nominees from 5 countries (Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa & Zimbabwe) were listed with Ghana picking up the highest number of nominations – 39 females.
LIMA’s vision is to recognise media personalities whose works and influences have impacted the media creative space in their respective countries.
The main event is scheduled for March 25, 2023. The ceremony is moving from a seated event hosted in a conference room to a digital and traditional setup.
