2MG Music on Thursday, August 26, 2021 held a successful private EP listening for its signed artiste – Lyrical Joe’s newest body of work entitled ‘VIBES’ at 4syte TV in Accra.
The beautiful session, which saw a number of invited media and entertainment personalities including music lovers and fans of LJ was hosted by skilled Ghanaian MC, Abeiku Sarkcess – who thrilled the audience with his amazing emceeing skills.
With DJ K Crakk on the turntable as the official DJ for the night, the excited audience were treated with songs from LJ’s musical catalogue. The fast growing and genius live band team in Ghana, BAND MASTERS on the other hand enlivened the premises with a zestful live band performances with Lyrical Joe.
Lyrical Joe during the listening exclusively premiered two outstanding and delightful music videos off the EP to the guests. These videos – (Goodness And Mercy & Knack) were shot beautifully in South Africa under renowned film director, Yaw Skyface’s direction.
Legendary Ghanaian music producer, Hammer of the Last Two, multiple award-winning sound engineer Possigee, Dr. Cryme, DJ Brezzy, blogger and PR expert Elorm Beenie, GH Kwaku, Ronnie Is Everywhere, Comedian DKB as well as colleague musicians including Mr. Drew, Kiaani, Camidoh, Agbeshie, Nana Blake, CJ Biggerman among others were some of personalities who adorned the listening session.
Possessing a varied collection of beats from Mix Master Garzy and Phredxter, VIBES EP is undoubtedly a great piece. The project is a 7-track EP with amazing guest collaborators including Ko-Jo Cue, Strongman, BBird, Camidoh and Fameye.
LJ equally didn’t disappoint on the EP with his matchless flow, delivery, forward-thinking and attention-grabbing bars that will leave you dumbfounded.
