Mega EJ is a Ghanaian artist with a discography of songs spanning from R&B/Soul, Afrobeats, and Rap/Hip-Hop. He is from the Volta region of Ghana, West Africa.
Mega EJ describes his sound as “Afro-Feels”: a hybrid of pure African tones from his cultural background and emotional colour melodies which set the mood.
After two successful single releases at the end of the last year 2021, Mega is back with a new Afro-fusion single titled “Rest” which is a fictional story of a man whose partner overdosed on a drug, but luckily enough didn’t suffer any fatal complications.
Against all odds, he stands firmly by her side and sees something no one else can see. This song throws light on this generation’s increased adherence to drugs as an escape from problems and pressures of life.
