We love Netflix for fueling our addiction to watch more and more of its series, and it’s official, Netflix’s La Casa de Papel a.k.a Money Heist is coming for us.
The show’s three seasons broke records by creating the best first-week at a global level for a Netflix original that is a non-English series which is pretty spectacular. It is also officially the most-watched Netflix series or film of all time which reflects that the demand for the show is major. It’s been watched in various languages, including English, in many countries around the world like France, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, and “many others,” according to Diego Ávalos, the direction of originals in Spain. And now it’s time for the Indian audience to get all pumped about it.
Even according to Forbes magazine, it was the most popular foreign language TV series on a streaming platform in 2018, which will be back for a Season 4. Netflix’s take on La Casa de Papel was that it was the third most-watched original TV show after another popular original show like Stranger Things and Umbrella Academy (Wow!). The show has already been viewed and loved by 44 million people, according to The New York Times which actually is the real reason why the show sees potential in its future storyline with a wide range of audiences from various parts of the world.
But don’t get just too excited about it as Netflix hasn’t made any official announcement. Although Álex Pina, the show’s creator did say the story of thieves isn’t over (Okay I’m back to being excited!)
“They’re a group of people who still have a lot to say. It took us quite a long time to decide. We wanted to respect our work,” he announced during a press conference in June.”The success of the series around the world has been so crazy.”
Well, all I can say for now is that sit tight and wait for January 2020!
