MzVee And Lynx Entertainment Amicably Terminates Their Contract.

Ghanaian owned talents management, recording and distribution hub, Lynx Entertainment Ghana Limited and signee, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda professionally known in the music world as MzVee have amicably agrred on terminating all healthy business engagements within their outfit..

According to a news release signed by the board and directors of Lynx Entertainment Ghana Limited, they, after eight years of successfully exploring the talent of their signee, there is a valuable need to alleviate the musician, MzVee off her duties to allocate her more time to reflect and peruse work done over the last decade.

This development comes at the back after there were series of rumours that her relationship with members at the label has gone sour. Others claimed the singer had gotten pregnant, went on a break to focus on herself and giving birth. Fans of MzVee have understandably had many questions about the artiste’s year long absence from the music scene.

Contrary to those rumours propagated by some fans of MzVee and entertainment enthusiasts in the country’s creative and arts industry, the talent management responsible for new artist recruitment and development (known as A&R), music publishing, and copyright enforcement stated in the News release that, MzVee went off the grid and took a sabbatical leave from active music to assess her output with the firm.

Boards and Directors of Lynx Entertainment Ghana Limited however expressed their gratitude to the Black Entertainment TV (BET) Awards nominee for elevating the record label’s brand to the highest level with her energetic performances, soul soothing musics and profitable deals won under during her tenure service with the firm.

Lynx Ghana Limited is an entertainment company established to encompass all facets of entertainment in Ghana. The company was founded as an expansion of the already existing record label, Lynx Entertainment, which has attained a credible reputation across Africa by churning out a host of successful recording artists and a large number of hit songs over the past ten (10) years.

However in a simultaneous news release signed by MzVee, the artiste recounted how amazing it has been working with the record label, revealing that, the last eight years with the firm has been an absolutely significant stride in the discovery and evolution of her personality and talent, as none would have been possible without the extraordinary help and support from Lynx entertainment.

She revealed that, in affirming her solidaritory to the firm, Lynx entertainment has contributed and played a pivotal role in nurturing her talent. She added that, the record label will always be the a strong pillar in the creative and arts career with the last eight years being with the firm has been an absolutely delightful and blessing.

The “Come And See My Mother” hitmaker urged all event organizers and corporate entities that will interested in booking her talents for events and business enquiries to communicate it through her official channels, i.e, her official business mail address, the new management number and her social media handles.

The songstress, one the finest female acts on the continent, has several hit songs and awards to show for her work in the last eight (8) years. In fact, some pundits dare to call her the most successful female Ghanaian act in the last decade.  She has been under the tutelage of Richie Mensah from the inception of her career, to the formative stages till now.

MzVee burst onto the Ghanaian music scene in 2012 as a lead singer of the girl band D3. She later launched her solo career with hit single ‘Borkor Borkor’ in January 2014; and went on to become the first artiste to win the ‘Unsung Artiste Award’ at the 2014 Ghana Music Awards. The feat was followed with the release of her career defining single ‘Natural Girl’. She went on to release more hits including Daavi, Come and see my Moda, Rewind, Sing My Name and Bend Down.

MzVee worked with Lynx Entertainment for 8 years during which she released 3 studio albums; Re-vee-lation (2014), Verified (2015) and DaaVee (2017) and served as brand ambassador for Beta Malt, Marie Stopes International, UNICEF and other notable organizations.
