Nigeria’s teen Yugo releases new single ‘Renegade’ off upcoming debut album | STREAM HERE

Nigerian artist Yugo released a new single titled ‘Renegade’ from his forthcoming debut album.

In the lyrics, the artist sings about heartbreak (“you put a knife through my heart and I’m bleeding”) and the number of times his partner lied to him, and the “crimes” she committed against their commitment. Although many young women want to give him the time of day and give him trim, Yugo says he is too apathetic—not interested—to lose himself to the world. To hear the brand new record produced by Shwoff, press play below and be on the lookout for more releases.

So far, he’s been profiled in the US publication Sheen Magazine, featured on Live Nation’s Ones to Watch editorial playlist (Now Watching), and recently interviewed by iHeartRadio’s DJ Mad Max on Sports & Hip-Hop and by SiriusXM’s DJ Anarchy for the new season of his show Tropical Takeover which airs on Pitbull’s Globalization. The (then) unreleased track premiered exclusively on Ghana’s Y 107.9 FM station in Accra and performed onstage in Lagos, Nigeria, at ISL’s annual festival with headliners like Wande Coal, BNXN, Fireboy DML, Teni, Ruger, Lojay, Pheelz, LAX, Poco Lee, Costa Titch and some American stars like Rubi Rose, Dreezy, and Yung Bleu.
