Ghanaian singer born George Kwabena Adu known popularly by his stage name as Kwabena Kwabena has unapologetically stated that he painting his nails is basically his freedom and for himself.
The singer had earlier come under public backlash and tagged as a homosexual for calling on people not to be violent toward gays and lesbians.
According to him, he just woke up one day and decided to paint them.
”I woke up one morning and decided to paint my nails”
he said.
Speaking in an interview on ‘DaybreakHitz’ on Hitz FM, the ‘ singer stressed out that he loves everything he is doing with his new style and sense of fashion.
The ‘Bue Kwan’ hitmaker believes that it is his liberation and basically about he finding himself.
”I love everything I am doing with my new style and fashion sense. It’s called Liberation. It’s basically about me finding myself”
he added.
Explaining reason behind his decision to paint his nails, he told the host that he had the habit of chewing them.
According to him, painting them has helped him stop chewing them.
”I had the habit of chewing my nails. Painting my nails has helped me in controlling that.
”I had the habit of chewing my nails. Painting my nails has helped me in controlling that”
