Ghanaian Highlife singer, George Kwabena Adu popularly known by his stage name as Kwabena has revealed that promoter and CEO of Loggy Entertainment was never his friend.
The two parties had earlier in 2018 gone their separate ways after signing a two year contract. The singer released his ‘Tokro’ song under the record label.
After their separation, the singer’s former label boss sharing his side of the story accused him of borrowing money from him.
The singer in an interview on ‘Anigye Mmre’ on Accra based radio station, Onua FM stated that he only had a verbal agreement with his former boss.
”“We shot a video of the song ‘Tokro’ few weeks later [and] he said he has signed me. What are the details of the contracts?”
he quizzed.
He added;
”We are in an industry where we know each other. You can give a person some trust based on his reputation with some people. The whole thing looks like a scam, Papa Logy was never my friend and I wanted to even record a song with the title ‘Voice Note’ but I had to stop.”
