It’s Tiffany, one of the very few female artiste who over the years have kept a level of consistency despite male dominance has edged promoters and organizers to give females the platform to do their thing.
In an interview with Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon Fm 102.1 on Monday, July 30th 2018. Responding to if or not female musicians are treated well or are behind.
The songstress noted, “ I don’t think the female artiste are behind the men, they are also doing their thing.”
She went on to cite her own self an as an example, saying, “ When I started, it was male dominated, some shows were only male performers billed, but upon stepping back for a while I saw lots of females really pushing, the late Ebony came and did well, Efya is always on her grounds, Adina and Kakie, they were all there but I feel the promoters should give the ladies the benefit of the doubt and allow them do their thing because I feel the females get the vim too.”
In rounding up her time with Sammy, she took the opportunity to educate the listening public on what the word “Cotyledon” means; “an embryonic leaf in seed-bearing plants, one or more of which are the first leaves to appear from a germinating seed”
Next time you hear the word, please don’t think too far, but re-visit your biology textbook.
