Shatta Wale Insulted George Britton And Obour Over Their Initiatives – Arnold Baidoo Fires

Fearless and intelligent entertainment critic cum Television and radio pundit, known in the showbiz industry as Arnold Baidoo has fired dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale over his call for Ghanaian songs to get more airplays.

He had earlier tagged the dancehall act as one of the country’s inconsistent and confused artistes.

The Shatta Movement boss in his just held ‘State Of The Industry Address’ called for Ghanaian songs to get 90% airplays.

Reacting to the act’s call, Arnold revealed that industry players and stakeholders, the Musicians Association of Ghana [MUSIGA] and media mogul, George Britton had earlier in 2016 and 17/ 18 suggested that.

According to him, he never supported them when they brought the initiatives.

Arnold amongst other things accused the SM boss of attacking and insulting former MUSIGA boss, Obour when he brought out the initiative.

”With that point, we have been hearing it. In 2016, MUSIGA brought ‘Play More’ GH. Shatta Wale never supported that initiative instead was insulting Obour. MUSIGA initiated ‘Play More GH’ so that we could have played more Ghanaian songs because when you go to South Africa, they have a policy that they play more South African songs, when you go to Kenya, so they said when we come to Ghana, we should come together, he didn’t support that move. The same 2017′ 18, one of us he insulted was George Britton, he brought an initiative for us to have played 80% Ghanaian songs. did he support? He never supported him”

he FUMED.
