Nigerian Hip-Hop artiste Olamide who performed in Ghana over the weekend during his performance paused intermittently to extol Shatta Wale.
The ”Science Student” hitmaker, who has been featured on Shatta’s ”Reign” album said very profound words, all in an attempt to tell Ghanaians who Shatta Wale is and to make Ghana value what they have.
”Shatta wale is a champion, it’s high time Ghana accepts Shatta Wale for who he is – he is the champion, he is the biggest music export from Ghana,” said Olamide.
Acts who come to Ghana are found of either praising or attacking big names here so they can get some attention and media space. I just hope this is not one of them.
