Rebel Africa – Uptown Energy’s Afro-Fusion artiste Tha Blackboi ‘Aka’ REBEL is set to release his upcoming music video for his single “ASETTI”, featuring one of Ghana’s finest sensational Reggae Dancehall artiste, Ras Kuuku.
This amazing video, depicts his real Afrocentric thoughts and culture, and is directed by award winning Video Director Lex McCarthy. Photos were taken by iconic duo photographers TWINSDONTBEG. Since pictures tell a thousand words, these photos show the strength of the African cultures put together through the perfect choice and blend of costumes created by renowned international brand studio 189, who clothed world famous stars including Alicia Keys, Acehood, Rosario Dawson, Manifest and many others.
Thablackboi has, to his credit, some hit song like “Enfa meho” which features Best African Act, Medikal, “Mini yaanor, more Vim” features Cabum and had been featured by famous local arts like Yaa pono, Epixode and Ras Kuuku. He also featured on international works with St Nelly Sade of Uganda and the only Ghanaian artist featured on project peace Africa recorded in Togo and have travel across Africa, from Ethiopia to Nigeria for one of Africa’s biggest event that takes place in Nigeria, Fellabration and also represented Ghana in Uganda and Togo for “We Are Hip pop music festival”.
According to close sources of the artist, his preparing a school scholarship scheme, through his foundation, to support the educational sector of the country and Africa as a whole. This, they say, is to prove their loyalty to their fans and also contribute their little quarter to the development of the country through education, which happens to be the most valuable asset you give the youth.
