Celebrating the awesomeness of food and finally settling the international feud about which country has the finest jollof and its’ recipe. This variation in recipes is perhaps at the root cause of this debate, which is a popular topic not only social media, but also street conversations.

Well, I present to you Ghana’s first and finest leading Jollof and Grill Event “THE JOLLOF FESTIVAL”. Which is run by the Pan African Culinary Entrepreneur Jay Gyebi also known as Mukasechic who also runs a food vlog on YouTube @mukasechic.

“The event is a continuous celebration around world jollof day which happens on the 22nd of August worldwide. For us as Ghanaian, we aim to celebrate the authenticity of our recipe.”- Jay said.

The event boast of genuine cooks who are known for their delicious Jollof, Grills and Drinks. With a vendor list boost of Gourmet Kim(an amazing food vlogger), menscook, instayum by lawrencia, foodbank, chillijunkie, the famous Auntie mansa, firerooster, teabaa, bottles and bones, juis Guy, I quench, Preyman sobolo etc.

Not overlooking the side attractions – with games curated by Jameson Whiskey, lots of music from one of Ghana’s best female DJ Nyce, the unbeatable DJ Adom and iPhone DJ etc. And a special performance by the authentic Ga band Wolomei and other exciting activities.

The event happens at Memory Lane Park opposite Silver Star on the 1st of September this year and starts at 11am to 11pm, absolutely FREE and mced by official Kwame of YFM, also powered by TFEC and sponsored by Tasty Tom.
