“The presence of my Manager would have made my UK trip more impactful,” Kofi Jamar reveals

Multi-genre gifted Ghanaian music sensation, Kofi Jamar, has called on event organizers to consider a proposal that will authorize artiste managers travel with their creatives for an international music engagement; an appeal he explained will ensure a more impactful and relevant tour experience in the lives of the talents.

The GADOne records signed artiste’s call comes after it was reported organizers of the just ended Ghana Party In The Park UK festival couldn’t successfully cop talent managers visas or a travel opportunity with their creatives for the widely acclaimed event.

Whiles commending the organizers, stakeholders of ‘Ghana Party In The Park’ for chalking remarkable success with their concert in the Diaspora, the Ghanaian serial hitmaker implored the organizers of the event to create an enabling environment that will allow artiste managers travel with their talents for an international gig

He noted that the absence of talent managers, especially his manager Obee (Obed Kaze) during his week-long trip to the United Kingdom for the festival has had an adverse effect on his career. According to Him, he was unable to capitalize on the array of music business opportunities that cropped out of the trip due to the non-attendance of their managers.

“The only thing I felt could’ve been better was allowing us to travel with our managers,” He told MzGee on TV3’s Simply Showbiz program. “There were many opportunities I could’ve utilized if my manager Obed Kaze (Obee) was around. So, I will use this platform to make a humble plea with them that in successive events, artiste managers should be given the travel opportunity.”
