VACS REVEALS THE STORY BEHIND ‘DARKOVIBES’ LASH OUT

Ghanaian producer Vacs joins Kojo Manuel for a discussion on the MAD Culture show.

Reflecting on his journey, Vacs recounted how it all started for him and the numerous obstacles he encountered on his way up the ladder. During this candid conversation, the renowned producer also shed light on his past friendship with DarkoVibes.

Vacs mentioned, “DarkoVibes was like a brother and part of my family. We had each other’s backs and made a commitment to support one another when success came knocking on either of our doors.”

Reflecting on those times when he expressed his affection for his brother (Darko) by producing the song ‘Mercy’ and handling the mixing and mastering of ‘Tomorrow’ without accepting any payment to this day, Vacs believes that DarkoVibes has not been equitable in their dealings and the ‘brotherhood’ they once shared.
