Banana Ball WKND: 3Music Network rolls out the maiden edition of Ghana’s first ever celebrity golf event | See Photos

On Saturday, October 30, 2021, 3Music Networks presented the maiden edition of Banana Ball WKND. The first ever celebrity golf event was hosted at the Accra’s premium golf course, Achimota Golf Club and offered a unique blend of music, sports & entertainment, networking, and humanity to the guests.

The charity event kicked off at 8am with first ever golf clinic where participants, including ace broadcasters; Abeiku Santana and Jay Foley, elite musicians; Rex Omar and Knii Lante, and more who are new to the discipline took turn to learn the basic etiquette and the rules of the game.

They also experienced the ultimate enjoyment of golf while they acquire knowledge on the fundamentals— full swing, chipping and putting. Halfway through the activities, elite “golfers” participated in a philanthropic tournament where they competed in an 18-hole Medal Play armatures tournament.

The hottest acts in Afrobeats, Highlife and Hiplife, the chart-topping artistes currently trailblazing donated their time to climax the event their brilliantly delivered individual performances. For golfers and VIP guests, Mr. Drew, Vanilla, Knii Lantey, Ria and Kwame Yogot brought a more intimate feel on the evening by sharing the best of their craft during this event.

The force of their performances was made possible by the superb musicians of Safoa Band, who were on top of their game, reveling in the creatives’ charm, vocal strength, and athleticism.
