“Don’t Be Moved By The Lifestyles On Social Media. – King SMADE

Just because majority of people don’t understand the nitty-gritties of how social media works, they are pressured and threatened by the flashy lifestyles of some so called social media celebrities. Believing all is real. What they don’t know is, some people are hustlers in real life but fake as superstars thanks to social media.

34-year-old Nigerian event promoter, entrepreneur and mastermind behind Afronation Festival by name Adesegun Adeosun Jr, known by many as King Smade advises the general public particularly the youths not to fall for the fake lifestyle people live on Instagram. As well as expanding upon the importance of staying true to oneself.

In an efficacious post he made on Twitter, he wrote “Don’t have a Rolex. I use my Apple Watch with pride. Don’t fall for the fake lifestyle people live on the gram! Fake Gucci Rented Cars Rented Flats. Be You! Wear Primark if that’s all you can afford. Be true to self! #Peace #KingSMADE”

The reality of the post was extracted from the fact, it’s good to be content with what you have and stay true to yourself while grinding harder to be better. Don’t envy the next man, use that same energy to uplift yourself image.

Meanwhile, Afronation Ghana, the only festival focused at celebrating the African diaspora and embracing our indigenous culture and heritage through music. It comes off at Laboma Beach on 27 – 30th December.
