Ghanaian famous music duo, Reggie N Bollie has said that their earlier announcement about their remix of all time classic “Kiss your bride” with legendary singer, Ed Sheeran which they were to release last night at exactly 11:59pm was meant to celebrate April’s fool day.

The music duo on yesterday 1st April 2021 announced that they were releasing last night at exactly 11:59pm, a remix of Bollie’s all time hit song ” Kiss your bride” which made waves at the time of it’s release with Ed Sheeran.

Reggie and Bollie’s announcement amazed their fans and sent them back to the good old days of Ghanaian music.

The duo in their post expressed their extreme excitement about the remix, giving beat reproduction credits to legendary and iconic producers, Da’ Hammer and Dr Dre.

In their post, they wrote;

” The secret is finally out of the bag. We’re extremely excited to drop a remix of Bollie’s all time #KissYourBride With Ed Sheeran. Beat reproduced by Da’ Hammer and Dr Dre. Song drops at exactly 11:59pm”.

However, the music duo after keeping their fans waiting last night waiting for the remix to be finally dropped, in a Facebook post earlier today 2nd April, satirically stated it is under lockdown at the Togo border due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to Reggie N Bollie, they have postponed the remix’s release date to next year 1st April as producer Hammer is requesting for a million dollar before he approves the final master of the song.

” NOW YOU MAY KISS YOUR BRIDE
MWHA Thank you all for believing in this super remix with Ed Sheeran on 1st April, As we type now, the song is under lockdown at the Togo border due to the Corona Virus pandemic and Da’ Hammer is also requesting for 1 million dollars before he approves the final master so we’ve decided to postpone the release untill 1st April 2022″ They wrote on Facebook.

Meanwhile, fans of the music duo, reacting to their post today, felt disappointed and tricked as they stayed all night long waiting for the song to be released.
