“Violence Does Not Settle Issues Amicably” – Rev. Otabil

Leader and Founder of International Central Gospel Church, Reverend Dr. Mensah Otabil have expressed displeasure in some group of youths purported to be muslim youth who were allegedly recorded on tape vandalizing properties belonging to the Accra branch of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International.

According to the ordained man of God, under no circumstances should Ghanaians use voilence in settling the differences we face within our jurisdiction.

This comes at the back after some group of people believed to be muslims youth alledgedly unleashed their anger on Reverend Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah for prophesying death on the Natonal Chief Imam of Ghana which they interprated as doom prophecy and ended up destroying properties allocated to the church.

In a statement signed by the Executive Pastor of the International Central Gospel Church(ICGC), Christ Temple Reverend Albert Ocran which sought to explicit reports which has been republished on a number of web portals with the assumption that Dr. Otabil was against some prophecies uttered by the the Prophet.

The said article juxtaposed a video excerpt of Reverend Dr. Mensah Otabil’s 34thAnniversary message delivered on sunday 4th March 2018 against a prophecy given by Reverened Owusu Bempah.

The motive deduced from the video obviously depicts Pastor Otabil’s perspective on the matter under consideration, pitting the two together creates an unfortunate impression that Pastor Otabil’s comment were directly attribbuted to Reverened Owusu Bempah.

The christian organization, International Central Gospel Church urge the public to ignore such information in the pubic domain, claiming that the media is misinforming the teeming Ghanaian with this particular publication.

Below is excerpt of the statement;
